The East Windsor Ambulance has been providing emergency medical care to the Town of East Windsor and Area communities for over 38 years. Our dedicated staff of Paramedics and Emergency Medical answers over 2600 requests for service.

We provide this service without any community tax funding. The town simply provides us a facility to house our staff. We bill our patients for the services we provide and do some community fund raising throughout the year. The Connecticut Department of Public Health Office of Emergency Medical Services strictly regulates the rates that we charge. Rates are marginally adjusted annually.

The East Windsor Ambulance Association purchases its own supplies, vehicles, and other capital equipment such as heart monitoring devices stretchers, cpr devices without the need for town assistance. All employee costs and expenses are the responsibility of the East Windsor Ambulance.

The East Windsor Ambulance Association Inc. not a business entity but a a non-profit 501c-3 nonstock corporation in East Windsor CT. We are not a town agency and our employees are not government employees. There are no profits paid to owners, only hourly wages to our employees for the services they perform.

The East Windsor Ambulance operates 6 licensed ambulances and has the ability to expand and assist other communities that are seeking to improve their service delivery and eliminate their municipal costs of emergency medical services. We have successfully operated without municipal revenues since 2012.
